INSITE Ambiental is looking for a:

GENERAL MANAGER (Reporting to the Global CEO)

Implement the subsidiary’s strategy (organization, economic development…) in accordance with the Company Group’s management decisions
Manage the subsidiary human resources policy (staff of 20 employees)
Ensure Labour regulation compliance and make sure that Environment, Quality and Safety rules & procedures are applied
Monitor and make decisions about resources related to employees and infrastructures in agreement with the Company Group management
Make decisions about selecting partners and purchasing materials/services according to the guidelines defined by the headquarter
Represent the organization beside Public Administration, Authorities, Customers, Providers & Partners
Implement internal functional process and make sure they are applied

PURCHASES AND SALES SKILLS

Identify business development opportunities and report to headquarter
Bring support to the local Business team as defined by the headquarter to help business development operations
Prospect, research and build relationships with new suppliers to enhance purchasing performance of the unit
Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors about prices, payments and contract conditions of services supplied in accordance with the Company Group’s management decisions
Collaborate with headquarters regarding globalized purchases/sales transactions
Conduct competitive/market intelligence, technical benchmarking, regulatory monitoring and convey feedbacks to the headquarters
Monitor and make decisions about sales closed contracts and conditions

FINANCIAL SKILLS

Determine financial orientations and annual budget in agreement with the Company Group management
Ensuring the profitability of the subsidiary
Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
Monitor authorization of orders in respect of internal Group procedures

REQUIRED ABILITIES

Education: University degree in business, financial, legal, civil, energy or environment engineering or other suitable education
At least 10 years of managing experience, preferably in civil, construction, energy or environment industry
High appreciation of the Brazilian industrial market
Highly trustful and reliable personality
Negotiation and sales skills
Knowledge of budgeting, financial and legal control
Effective communication and presentation skills
Team player, self-confident oriented
Readiness to travel
Fluent Portuguese (preferably as mother tongue)
Fluent English, French or Spanish is a plus
